Northend United 2 Institute 2 Saturday 26th April 2014
This was a game of two halves as Institute were the better team in the first half with Northend too slow out of the blocks and Institute were able to push high up the field and this lead to them taking a two goal lead. Half time score 2-0.
Northend shuffled their team around for the start of the second half and it paid off as they now were the team in control and after they had missed a lot of chances, Jay McKeown was on hand to finish of a great shot from Ben O'Neill which the Institute keeper didn't hold on to and he knocked it in from close range. Northend were in total control of the game and with Stevie Bristow, Zack Erwin and Pearse McAuley in midfield it looked like it wouldn't be long before they would draw level as they were dominating in the middle of the park. Northend forced the Institute keeper into some great saves before McKeown scored from a corner to level the score. As the game moved on Northend really should have won the game with the chances they created in the second half. Final score 2-2

Northend United 0 Carniny Youth 3 Saturday 29th March 2014
This was a very competitive cup match as you would expect from a derby game, but it was Carniny who when infront when they were awarded a free-kick near the Northend goal. When the ball was played in a Carniny player ran across the Northend keeper causing him to take his eye of the ball and it went into the Northend goal. The game went from end to end but the score remained 1-0 to Carniny at halftime.
The second half started the same as the first with both teams counter attacking each other and with both sets of defenders in control of the game it was looking like a second half stalemate until Carniny scored to late goals to finish Northend off.

Northend United 3 Institute 1 Saturday 15th March 2014
Northend U9 team are starting to put a good run together with victory against Institute now their fourth win in arow. The reason why is because the players are working so hard for each other and the partnership of Stevie Bristow and Ben O'Neill at the back. The two boys again were outstanding and with Jay McKeown in midfield, they always look like scoring more that they concede. Institute defeated Northend the last time they met 4-1 but Northend started off the stronger team and after hitting the crossbar from a great shot by Zack Erwin and a few close shaves from Jay McKeown, Northend went infront when Zack Erwin scored from close range after constant pressure from the Northend midfield. Northend should have added a few more goals before half time but and the same time Institute were also quick to counter attack and if it had not been for Bristow and O'Neill at the back the score might have been different. Half time score 1-0
Into the second half and Northend went further infront when Jay McKeown scored the second. Institute pulled a goal back when a quick throw in caught the Northend players out and the advancing midfielder hit a unstoppable shot into the Northend net. Northend went further infront when Jay McKeown scored his second and Northend's third after good work down the wing by Issac Wylie and Tyler Boyd set McKeown up to slip the ball under the keeper's legs to finish the game off. Final score 3-1

Portrush 2 Northend United 4 Saturday 8th March 2014
The last two times these teams have met, Portrush have won both matches but this time Northend took all the points with a fantastic performance.. The game started well for both teams with each teams quick to close down their opponents, but it was Portrush who scored first when they played a great ball in behind the Northend defence and their striker coolly slotted the ball home. Northend soon levelled the score when Jay McKeown hit a great shot that flew in of the post. The game went from end to end but the score stayed the same until half time. Half time score 1-1
Into the second half and Northend fell behind very quickly to a goal that came of the post and hit one of the Northend player to end up in the back of the net. However the Northend players did not let this affect them and came straight back at Portrush and pulled level when Zack Erwin got on the score sheet with a well taken goal. The game then went in Northend's favour when after a lot of pressure a corner was played deep into the Portrush box and Zack Erwin headed the ball against a Portrush player which then flew into the Portrush goal. Things were really starting to heat up with tackles flying in as Portrush were pushing for a equalizer but Northend finished the game of when Jay McKeown linked up with Issac Wylie and after McKeown's shot had been saved, Wylie followed up and fired his shot high into the net to finish Portrush off. Northend put in a great performance with Charlie McGarry, Stevie Bristow, Ben O' Neill and Issac Wylie putting in outstanding performances. Final Score 2-4
